...finding Gede and a dream of “the house on the hill”
It started with a spontaneous trip to Bali in the winter of 2012 when an Australian woman and her teenage daughters landed in Seminyak for a spot of adventure.
It was their first trip to Bali and they fell under that “Bali spell” of warm-hearted, friendly people, the colourful and exotic culture and food, beaches for miles and that euphoric sense of freedom. They knew they had to return and return they did!
Some trips later, that same woman met a handsome Australian man who shared with her the idyllic unspoiled island paradise of Gili Gede. She not only fell for the handsome bloke, but also for the island itself and her dream of a “house on the hill” blossomed and Villa Selalu was born.
